HOW LIBERALS FUCK YOU aT tHE PHARMACY

This article is named "How Liberals Fuck You at the Pharmacy". You may ask yourself "what the hell is this guy talking about"?? Well, let me tell you. As you probably know, we as Americans pay the highest prices in the world for prescription drugs. Why is that?? There are numerous reasons for this but I am going to detail the major problems and how liberals have created every single one of these issues. One of the major reasons that we pay more for drugs than anyone else is the need for pharmaceutical companies to make profits. I know liberals, profit motive is a foreign concept but without it, none of these drugs would exist. So believe it or not, you would not be able to take your Viagra for your chronically limp cock or Paxil (which gave you that limp cock in the first place) to combat the emptiness of your pathetic life it were not for companies trying to make money. What I feel I must explain to the village idiots out there is that corporations only do things so that they can make money. The process of creating and marketing these drugs to the inferior masses (I, of course, do not take any of them for I am a Viking which makes me impervious to all types of disease and scourge) is expensive and complicated and to do this, corporations must make money. So the moral of the story is that companies must charge what idiots may describe as exorbitant prices for these drugs since only 1 of 50-100 compounds make it to market.

Not to pound home the free market idea (although I am betting that a good number of you out there enjoy getting things pounded into your throat), but I want to preemptively answer the cries from the peanut gallery. The retort to this article will most certainly be “People deserve life saving drugs without worrying about the costs”. This could not be more incorrect. Does the constitution say that you have the right to drugs someone else invented and hopes to profit from? In case you have not noticed, corporations are in the business of making money and in order to do this; they must continually innovate to differentiate themselves from other corporations that are engaged in similar businesses. In the pharmaceutical industry, innovation takes the form of discovering, testing and marketing new formulations that are typically superior to older, established products. You see liberals; this motivation is driven by the all-mighty dollar. Without the incentive to do this, companies will continue to market drugs like Viagra instead of AIDS drugs or cancer treatments. What the bleeding hearts fail to recognize is that by somehow forcing these companies to sell these products at steep discounts or, even worse, give them away they remove the very motivation needed to create these drugs in the first place, therefore depriving paying customers of much needed therapy. Cheap drugs for everyone would cause stagnation in the drug industry, and many life saving opportunities would be lost in the future. So pay up pussies!

I can hear the cries now “Well if you are correct Arthur (I am, of course) then we need to create a kinder, gentler pharmaceutical market by subsidizing with money so that these companies can do their part for the human race”. This is a common response from the economically and historically challenged liberal scum that infest our nation. What they are basically calling for is the socializing of medicine. Of course, we know how the first attempt at doing so ended. Soon-to-be-crushed in the 2008 election, Hillary Clinton, was embarrassed by the utter failure of her first power grab with the sound defeat of her proposal in the US Congress. As a matter of fact, it did not even make it to the voting stage. It was another example of liberals trying to bribe taxpayers with another entitlement, but that is a different story altogether.

In order to understand the horrific consequences of socialized medicine and socialism, we must look at the historical record. For example, in the old Soviet Union, companies were not in business to make money but to help the government create an ill-fated zero-unemployment economic system. A particular product comes to mind. In the former Soviet Union, the main car was known as the Lada. It was a small car that was derived from the 1960s Fiat. The quality of this car was something out of horror movie, it constantly stalled, engines tended to blow up within 50,000 miles of use and the interiors were primitive. You may ask, “What does the Soviet automobile industry have to do with socialized medicine?” The answer is... these Soviet ventures were not meant to make money, just to provide the average person with transportation. These companies did not have profit motive instead they had production quotas to meet. The combination of quotas and no particular motivation to produce a quality car made these cars technically inferior to any car produced in the West during this era. Yes, it was even worse that Renults and Pegeots. This same phenomenon would be replicated in our health care system if the profit motive were removed. If anyone believes that socialized medicine is a good idea, go to Canada, slit your wrists and see how long it takes for the local hospital to help you. The reality is that the hospital has no incentive to help you so needless to say the care is far inferior to what we are used to receiving as American hospital patients. This is also true of the pharmaceutical industry in this system. From 1997 to 1999, for every 100 pharma products that were approved in the US, only 43 were available to Canadians. Why?? Because of price controls, if the drug were deemed to expensive the government would not pay for it and since there is no private market in Canada due to regulation, people who need these drugs go without. Just a few months ago in fact, the Canadian Supreme Court all but called their medical system unconstitutional. When a man sued the government to have the right to go to a private doctor (which is outlawed in Canada) the supreme court came back and said that since the current system was so horrid, that it was violation of this man's rights to keep him from seeking private care. Is this what liberals want when they talk about how great Canada's system is? So, what's the end result of this? Why it puts us right back where we stared, and in a situations liberals detest. The rich get care that is superior to the poor… get over it pussies! This is the way it will always be. The rich will always have bigger homes, faster cars, prettier women, and smarter doctors.

Another major reason that drugs are so supposedly expensive in the US is the idiocy of our friends to the north, Canada and the rampant stupidity of the liberal pussies in Europe. How do the communist health care systems of these nations affect us here in the US? You now know how they are flawed, but they do actually hurt us. Drug companies, as you may know, are limited in what they can charge for drugs in these countries. This system suppresses prices in most of the industrialized world, which creates a major problem for pharmaceutical companies. They must make money so that people like me do not revolt as stockholders so they are forced to charge whatever they can in the US to bolster their balance sheets. This drives up the cost of our drugs. As Americans, we are in effect subsidizing the health care for all those socialist mother-fuckers in Europe. When are we going to get our act together and invade? As if we need another reason to hate Canada and Europe!

I'm not sure I should even get started on personal injury trial lawyers. As you should know, trial lawyers are the most disgraceful people walking God's green earth. In some states doctors have to pay $150,000 – $200,000 dollars a year for malpractice insurance. This price is passed on down to anyone who goes and sees a doctor. As always, the Democrats are propped up by trial lawyer organizations, so don't expect them to be looking out for the little guy here. The fact is, getting a botched operation in America today is like winning the lottery. You might get thirty million dollars for your trouble. Too bad your lawyer will get 40% of that you greedy bastard. “Pain and suffering damages”… what a fucking stupid idea! No amount of money can give you your left kidney back. The best the medical system can do is cover your resulting medical expenses. If you can never work again, a trust fund to take care of you the rest of your life would cost 2 million, not thirty. If the size of jury awards in medical malpractice cases were brought down, there would be less incentive for those ambulance chasing snakes to be in business. The final reason the drugs are more expensive here in the US is the constant government interference with the insurance industry. In case you are not literate and you did not know this, it is commonplace for a local or state government to force insurance companies to cover drugs that may be too expensive, not effective, or just plain over-prescribed. Insurance companies are typically private and therefore should be able to do whatever they need to do to ensure that the insurance pool is not compromised by the costs of drugs that they deem unacceptable. It is akin to the government telling life insurance companies that they must insure AIDS patients and charge the same price. Thankfully, this is not the case. By doing this, the government would be in effect raising the price for everyone. If the average non-AIDS infected person had to pay the same rates as an immoral AIDS patient, the total cost would be inflated and this cost would not absorbed by the insurance company, it would be passed on the consumer in the form of higher premiums. Sorry pussies, that's the way it works. In the effort to make sure everyone has equal access to drugs, the government has forced companies to insure treatments and drugs that are expensive and this has driven up the average cost of insurance for people who actually take care of themselves. This is the root of the so-called “health care crisis” that liberals like to whine about while, of course, being the reason that the situation exists in the first place.

Insurance, in and of itself is also a driver of pharmaceutical prices. You see, if people actually had to pay for these drugs they may choose not to take the drugs. Of course, I have opinions about people who take these drugs, most are complete pussies who cannot deal with pain or sickness so they rely on pharmaceutical drugs. They are not Vikings and therefore they are weak and they have no tolerance for pain. So they go to the doctor and get prescriptions for broken finger nails. They send their claims to the insurance company and these drugs get paid for. If these losers had to buy it themselves, they may choose to actually deal with the pain. Insurance corrupts the free market system and anything that interferes with the free market is evil. Oh, and those five fat lazy bitches your doctor has to employ for insurance billing, they don't come cheap either. Just another way the current state of the insurance industry drives up prices. So next time you are being a woman and you are getting some antibiotics for your sniffly little nose, remember that it is liberal thought is the reason those pills are so damn expensive.

All of this actual information aside, the only pharmaceutical drug that you, my readers, should be taking is anabolic steroids. In case you haven't noticed in prior articles, I have been telling you that steroids are the key to releasing all that untapped masculine potential that is lost deep inside your soft, estrogen dominated bodies. They are pharmaceutical drugs and they are not readily prescribed but they are available at your local gym. Go look for the best looking, strongest, alpha male of the gym and he can point you in the right direction. These are the only drugs that a true Viking should be using and since I know that you all aspire to be bad-ass Vikings (you will inevitably fall short due to your inferior non-Viking blood) take my advice and for once in your lonely life, be a fucking man and juice up!!
